Silent Angels

Silent Angels of Alabama was established to assist individuals who have encountered severe financial hardship to obtain basic necessities due to a prolonged illness, catastrophic event, accident, or similar occurrence.

When life’s unexpected challenges and trials come your way, it can be overwhelming. No matter if it is an illness, severe injury, or a catastrophic event that keeps you from providing for you or your family, we created the Silent Angels fund to help you weather whatever storms come your way.

Silent Angels allow the Birmingham Association of REALTORS® to assist our REALTOR® and Affiliate members, their immediate family members, and employees, in good standing, who find themselves in need of assistance.

If your family or one of your peers’ families is affected by an illness, accident, or a natural disaster you may need help with medical bills, at-home care during recovery, or day-to-day living expenses. Are you financially prepared for these kinds of added costs? We know many are not, which is why the BAR created Silent Angels in 2015 to help members of the BAR and Greater Alabama MLS family during times of need.

As a member of the BAR and Greater Alabama MLS family, we ask you to consider giving to Silent Angels. Your generous gifts allow Silent Angels to offer aid to your fellow REALTORS® and Affiliates and their families when tragedy or other hardships knock on their doors.

If you or one of your BAR/GALMLS peers might benefit from Silent Angels’ assistance, please fill out an application.
All applications for assistance are kept confidential. Please give Silent Angels a chance to provide a helping hand during your time of need.
