The Central Alabama Global Alliance is a REALTOR® driven business development collaboration educating and connecting global businesses through strong communication, networking opportunities, and innovative technologies. The Central Alabama Global Alliance is responsible for the annual Global Business Summit.

Collaboration Advisory Group

Foster cooperation, inclusion, and business relationships by offering networking and community involvement opportunities. This advisory group will provide direction and support of BAR’s strategic plan for the following Workgroups and Task Forces: Member Benefits and Services Workgroup, Golf Tournament Task Force, BAR Sports Night, Birmingham Commercial REALTORS® Council (BCRC), Central Alabama Global Alliance (CAGA), Silent Angels Trustees, REALTOR®Fest/Awards Program Task Force, Young Professionals Network (YPN).

BCRC is responsible for increasing the value of BAR's commercial offerings and membership.

BAR Golf Tournament

Secure sponsors and teams by phone call and email outreach, promote event by sharing information and inviting people to event via social media and networking, and attend/volunteer at event as needed.

Will create successful quarterly predetermined BAR events; Governmental Affairs Forum, REALTORFest, AAR Election Food Truck, Global Economic Summit, and semi-annual broker breakfasts.

YPN connects professionals new to the real estate industry and help them to become more business savvy by hosting regular networking events, communicating with other YPN members, and sharing tips and tricks!

To enhance REALTORS® personal and professional development through quality education and to provide direction and support of BAR’s strategic plan for the following Workgroups and Task Forces: Technology and MLS Training Workgroup and Leadership Academy Trustees.

Grievance Committee

To promote and uphold professionalism within the membership, in accordance with the Code of Ethics, to elevate the business of members and to protect the REALTOR brand. Committee will determine if complaint moves forward to a hearing with the Professional Standards Committee based on the Code of Ethics and processes as defined by the National Association of REALTORS. Must attend annual Professional Standards training provided by BAR.

Attend Professional Standards training. Must be able to attend panels on Fridays when applicable and maintain non-biased professionalism while respecting strict confidentiality of the case. *Must have two years’ experience on the Grievance Committee.
